Eastern China's Anhui province produced 8.84 million tonnes of raw coal in November, down 4.4% year on year, according to data from the provincial statistics bureau.
The province's total production during January-November ticked up 0.6% over the same period last year to 100 million tonnes, data showed.
ln November, local power companies above designated size generated 27.26 TWh of electricity, a 14.9% increase on the year.
All sources of power generation maintained year-on-year growths, with thermal power, hydropower, wind and solar up 13.6%, 10.5%, 34.6%, 28.9% respectively.
The cumulative power production in the first eleven months climbed up 5.2% from a year ago to 301.56 TWh in Anhui province.
