China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., Ltd. (CTGR), a subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation, reported its power generation totaled 55.18 TWh in 2023, increasing 14.12% year on year (YoY).
This included 38.96 TWh of wind generation, up 14.75% year on year (onshore 26.35 TWh, up 16.53% YoY, offshore 12.61 TWh, up 11.21% YoY); 15.35 TWh of solar power, up 14.23% year on year; 0.77 TWh of hydropower, down 16.20% from a year earlier.
CTGR's power generation rose 16.19% from the year earlier to 15.15 TWh in the fourth quarter, the report showed.
This included 10.98 TWh of wind power, up 11.06% from a year ago (onshore 6.97 TWh, up 14.11% YoY, offshore 4.01 TWh, up 6.12% YoY); 3.91 TWh of solar power, up 33.32% year on year; 0.21 TWh of hydropower, up 0.49% year on year.
CTGR aims to develop into a world-class new energy company and contributes to helping China attain its goals of reaching peak emissions before 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
