Northern China's Tongliao city, a prefecture-level city of Inner Mongolia, produced 4.33 million tonnes of raw coal in November, down 5.7% year on year, according to data released by the statistics bureau of the city.
The city's total production during January-November ticked up 1.0% over the same period last year to 44.91 million tonnes.
Local power companies above designated size generated 5.85 TWh of electricity in November, a 4.5% increase on the year. The daily power generation averaged at 195 GWh, data showed.
Thermal power generation decreased 6.0% year on year, while that of wind and photovoltaic power increased 36.4% and 16.9% on the year respectively. And new energy power generation rose 36.5% from a year ago.
The cumulative power production in the first eleven months climbed up 3.0% from a year ago to 62.94 TWh in Tongliao city.
