China Coal Energy Co., Ltd, the listed arm of China National Coal Group, produced 121,000 tonnes of polyolefin in November, down 3.2% year on year and 4.7% month on month; sales stood at 123,000 tonnes, down 7.5% on the year yet up 1.7% on the month, said the company in a report on December 15.
Production of polythene was 63,000 tonnes last month, down 1.6% year on year and 3.1% month on month; sales stood at 58,000 tonnes, declining 18.3% on the year and 13.4% on the month.
And its polypropylene production was 58,000 tonnes in the same month, down 4.9% on the year and 6.5% on the month; sales reached 65,000 tonnes, rising 4.8% year on year and 20.4% month on month, data showed.
The company also produced 173,000 tonnes of urea in November, down 2.3% compared with the same period last year and 4.9% from October. Sales rose 34% on the year to 134,000 tonnes, yet down 14.1% from October.
The methanol output was 138,000 tonnes in the same month, down 26.2% year on year and 13.8% month on month. Sales fell 19.7% on the year and 6.4% on the month to 147,000 tonnes.
