Eastern China's Jiangsu province consumed 65.01 TWh of electricity in June, dipping 0.21% year on year, showed data from Jiangsu Energy Regulatory Office of National Energy Administration.
This brought the total power consumption to 360 TWh in the first six months, up 5.34% from a year earlier.
The highest power load of this year reached up to 112.79 GW, down 0.22% on the year.
In June, Jiangsu produced 53.51 TWh of power, a 2.8% rise year on year, adding to a total 293.83 TWh of power output in January-June, up 4.07% compared with last year.
As of the end of June, the province's installed power generation capacity was 168.26 GW.
The province added 7.28 GW of power capacity in June, including 1.31 GW of thermal power capacity, 175.2 MW of wind, 5.64 GW of solar and 159.8 MW of stored energy.
