China Shenhua Energy Company Limited, a flagship subsidiary of China Energy Investment Corporation, produced 27.3 million tonnes of commercial coal in November, up 5% year on year yet down 0.7% month on month, said the company in a statement released on December 16.
The company's commercial coal sales reached 39.6 million tonnes in November, rising 8.2% on the year and 5.6% from October.
Huanghua Port of Shenhua loaded 18.3 million tonnes of coal in the same month, down 0.5% year on year and 5.2% month on month. That of Tianjin Port stood at 3.9 million tonnes, down 2.5% year on year but unchanged compared to October, data showed.
The shipment volume reached 14.2 million tonnes, up 31.5% on the year and 10.9% on the month.
Besides, China Shenhua produced 17.95 TWh of electricity in November, rising 16.8% year on year. And the electricity sales totaled 16.95 TWh in the same month, increasing 17.2% on the year.
Total commercial coal production reached 296.8 million tonnes in the first eleven months this year, up 3.6% on the year; sales stood at 409.6 million tonnes, rising 7.7% compared to the same period last year.
And the power generation accumulated at 190.38 TWh from January-November, rising 10.2% on the year; sales increased 10.2% on the year to 179.02 TWh.
