    Anhui's Oct raw coal production rises 1.1% YoY to 9.08 Mt

    Eastern China's Anhui province produced 9.08 million tonnes of raw coal in October, up 1.1% year on year, according to data from the provincial statistics bureau.

     

    The province's total production during January-October ticked up 0.8% over the same period of last year to 93.99 million tonnes, data showed.

     

    ln October, local power companies above designated size generated 24.87 TWh of electricity, a small increase of 0.6% on the year.

     

    By source, thermal power generation and hydro power output maintained growth, at a rate of 1.9% and 1.8% respectively, while power generated by wind and solar PV showed a downward trend, falling by 23.8% and 3.1% respectively.

     

    The cumulative power production in the first ten months climbed up 4.4% from a year ago to 274.23 TWh in Anhui province.
