Poland's hard coal production was 4.65 million tonnes in November this year, rising 2.1% from a year ago yet down 4.0% from a month ago, official statistics showed.
Lignite production stood at 3.75 million tonnes in the same month, down 14.6% year on year yet up 11.4% month on month, data showed.
Poland's total coal production was calculated at 8.39 million tonnes in November, down 6.1% year on year yet up 2.3% month on month with four-consecutive month's growth.
From January-November, Poland's coal production accumulated 80.87 million tonnes, down 18.1% from the same period last year.
Of that, hard coal production was 44.49 million tonnes, down 8.5% on the year, and lignite production dropped 27.4% from the year-ago level to 36.38 million tonnes.
