CHN Energy Xinjiang Energy Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of state-run China Energy Investment Corporation, completed 13.03 million tonnes of coal outbound deliveries as of December 23, surging 7.21 million tonnes or 124.1% year on year, according to the parent company.
The company completed the outbound shipments targets – monthly average exceeding one million tonnes and annual volume surpassing 10 million tonnes – eight days ahead of schedule, with shipments hitting historic high.
The company's outbound coal shipments remained above one million tonnes for seven consecutive months through both road and railway transport.
CHN Energy Xinjiang Energy consolidated and extended its advantages in integrated energy supply this year, which also increased the construction of the outbound shipments network of Xinjiang. It linked the freight rates with coal prices to curb price declines, making efforts to ensure stable coal supply to provinces and regions outside Xinjiang.
As of now, CHN Energy Xinjiang Energy shoulders supply tasks to 38 major customers from about 13 provinces and regions.
