Mongolia exported 5.13 million tonnes of iron ore in the first eleven months of this year, rising 16.98% or 745,100 tonnes from the previous year, showed the latest data from the Mongolian Customs General Administration (MCGA).
China remained the only destination of Mongolian iron ore exports in January-November.
The total export earnings increased by 7.02% on the year to $396 million during this period, data showed.
MCGA didn't release the specific figure for last month. Sxcoal calculated the exports at 390,000 tonnes based on the overall exports published by the customs authority, down 23.84% or 122,100 tonnes year on year and 22.50% or 113,300 tonnes on the month.
The iron ore exports amounted to $33.04 million in November, with average price at $84.71/t, up $20.58/t from the year-ago level and $6.95/t from October, data showed.
