Mongolia's coal shipments through railway were registered at 1.17 million tonnes in November, down 16.33% from the preceding year but rising 8.39% from a month earlier, marking a four-month sequential increase, showed data from Mongolian statistical authority.
Rail-carried iron ore shipments stood at 326,800 tonnes, up 15.23% on the year yet dropping 33.20% month on month, the second straight month of decrease, data showed.
Mongolia's rail coal shipment totaled 11.48 million tonnes in the first eleven months of this year, up 17.66% from a year ago. Iron ore shipment was 4.88 million tonnes, increasing 35.17% year on year.
