    Shuohuang railway cargo shipments at historical high

    Coal-dedicated Shuohuang railway had delivered 330.25 million tonnes of coal during the year to December 13, state media Xinhua News Agency reported.

     

    During the given period, total cargo shipments came in to 350.12 million tonnes, up 19.14 million tonnes from the year prior, hitting a record high in the history.

     

    Shuohuang, China's second-largest railway for West-to-East coal delivery after Daqin, has maintained coal shipments above 300 million tonnes for six consecutive years.

     

    In the fourth quarter, daily cargo delivery of the railway has maintained over 1.08 million tonnes, refreshing record 19 times.
