China exported 0.56 million tonnes of coal in November 2023, surging 146.6% from a year earlier and 86.67% from a month ago, according to latest data released by General Administration of Customs.
Coal export value in November was $114.64 million, rising 56.1% on the year and 72.07% on the month. That put the average export price at $204.71/t, falling $114.62/t from the preceding year and $17.36/t compared to last month.
China exported a total 4.03 million tonnes of coal in the first eleven months this year, up 9.6% from a year ago, which was worth $1.05 billion, down 7.3% year on year, data showed.
The country's coke and semi-coke exports totaled 0.81 million tonnes in November, 31.7% higher than the same period last year, and the value of which increased 5.8% from the year-ago level to $219.07 million.
Total coke exports reached 8.06 million tonnes in January-November, down 4.1% year on year; the export value was $2.28 billion, decreasing 40.6% decrease compared with the same period last year.
China's exports of cement and cement clinker totaled 0.45 million tonnes in November, increasing 41.7% year on year, and the value fell 4.5% from the year-ago level to $26.52 million.
The cumulative cement exports were 3.5 million tonnes from January-November, soaring 115% year on year; the export value increased 55.3% on the year to $265.26 million, data showed.
