China's 10 largest coal mining groups (in terms of production) produced 2.19 billion tonnes of raw coal during January-November 2023, rising 77.58 million tonnes or 3.68 % year on year, according to statistics released by China National Coal Association.
Their coal production represented 51.7% of China's total coal production, which reached 410 billion tonnes, a 4.6% rise year on year during the same period, according to data of the National Bureau of Statistics.
China imported 430 million tonnes of coal during January-November, jumping 62.8% on the year, with November figure at 43.51 million tonnes.
