Coal exports of Brisbane port in Queensland, Australia saw a year-on-year increase but a month-on-month decline in December 2023, according to the latest data released by the Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd (PBPL).
The port exported 155,300 tonnes of coal in December, rising 24.04% or 30,100 tonnes on the year but falling 30.17% or 67,100 tonnes on the month.
Coal exports via Brisbane port totaled 2.32 million tonnes throughout the year of 2023, up 11.80% from the year before.
