    Shaanxi Coal Selling & Transportation Jan-Nov container coal shipments up 104% YoY

    Container coal shipments by Shaanxi Coal Selling and Transportation Group Corporation reached 22.94 million tonnes in the first 11 months this year, surging 104% compared with the same period last year, according to parent Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group.

     

    The company has prioritized environmentally friendly transportation by shifting from highway to railway and bulk to collective. The transition to multimodal transportation has led to increased coal transport via railway and the expansion of containerized coal transportation business.

     

    It supplied high-quality clean coal to the whole country through low-carbon transportation since the beginning of this year, which further enhanced its market competitiveness and expanded the transportation of self-provided containers.
