On November 28, China Energy Investment Group's shipping company finished coal shipment for a third country with its own vessel for the first time.
The "Shenhua 802" ship laden with 73,900 tonnes of thermal coal departed from Muara Jawa port, Indonesia, and was unloaded at Lumut terminal, Malaysia, after a 28-day journey, China Energy said in a statement earlier this week.
This marks the shipping company's further expansion in the international shipping market, it said, noting it has been exploring international business opportunities by closely tracking the international and domestic dry bulk cargo transport market trends.
