The majority of steel products prices in China continued to increase in mid-November (November 11-20), showed the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The average price of construction steel rebar (HRB 400, 20mm) at 25 major cities in China rose 95.9 yuan/t or 2.5% from ten days earlier to 3,931.4 yuan/t during this period.
Prices of wire (HPB 300, 6.5mm) averaged 4,127.8 yuan/t in the same period, up 92.6 yuan/t or 2.3% from ten days ago.
Prices of common medium plate (Q235, 20mm) stood at 3,984.6 yuan/t, 90.0 yuan/t or 2.3% higher than the preceding session.
Hot-rolled plate (Q235, 3mm) increased 81.9 yuan/t or 2.1% to 4,001.7 yuan/t.
Angle steel climbed 82.6 yuan/t or 2.0% to 4,140.6 yuan/t.
Seamless steel tube declined 1.6 yuan/t or 0.04% to 4,541.4 yuan/t, data showed.
