China exported 82.66 million tonnes of steel products in January-November 2023, rising 35.6% from a year ago, according to latest data released by the General Administration of Customs.
Export value totaled $78.31 billion over the first eleven months this year, down 8.1% on the year. That put the average export price of steel products at $947.4/t, down 32.2% year on year.
China exported 8.01 million tonnes of steel products in November, rising 0.8% month on month and 43.2% year on year, data showed.
The volume was worth $6.49 billion in November, up 3.2% from a month earlier yet down 11.7% on the year, with the average export price calculated at $810.9/t, rising 2.4% month on month yet falling 38.4% year on year.
