Shanxi Coking Coal starts first blending coal export

Shanxi Coking Coal Group Co., Ltd. exported the first vessel of 44,000 tonnes of blending coal produced in its blending base in Rizhao, Shandong on November 8.

The vessel MV.XINHAITONG10 is en route to Pohang port in South Korea for the steelmaker Pohang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (POSCO).

This marks the first coal exporting business of the base and marked its entrance into international market.

The company and POSCO have gone through a long discussion before reaching cooperation.

This could be an opportunity for the base to open a new chapter in the global market.
