Steel products prices in China saw both rises and falls in late October (October 21-31), showed the latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The average price of construction steel rebar (HRB 400, 20mm) at 25 major cities in China rose 43.3 yuan/t or 1.2% from ten days earlier to 3,722.7 yuan/t during this period.
Prices of wire (HPB 300, 6.5mm) averaged 3,917.1 yuan/t in the same period, up 43.4 yuan/t or 1.1% from ten days ago.
Prices of common medium plate (Q235, 20mm) stood at 3,811.1 yuan/t, 19.5 yuan/t or 0.5% lower than the preceding session.
Hot-rolled plate (Q235, 3mm) increased 4.5 yuan/t or 0.1% to 3,836.7 yuan/t.
Seamless steel tube declined 27.2 yuan/t or 0.6% to 4,566.9 yuan/t.
Angle steel climbed 32.1 yuan/t or 0.8% to 3,960.5 yuan/t, data showed.
